1. Information we collect

- Account and profile data: name, email address, phone number, job title, company name, industry/sector, LinkedIn URL, profile photo, golf handicap index, county/region, and other fields you complete on your member profile.
- Membership and billing data: membership tier (Bogey, Par or Birdie), subscription status, billing address, and payment confirmation details. Card and bank details are processed and stored by Stripe, our payment processor — we do not store full card numbers.
- Activity data: rounds logged, playing partners tagged, posts, messages, directory searches, referrals made, and raffle entries earned.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected via cookies and analytics tools (see our Cookie Policy).
- Communications: emails, form submissions, and support enquiries you send us.
2. How we use your information
We use your personal data to:
- Create and administer your membership account and member profile.
- Process subscription payments and manage billing via Stripe.
- Operate the member directory, messaging, round-logging, referral and raffle features.
- Send service communications (welcome emails, billing notices, round-log prompts, renewal reminders) via our CRM.
- Send marketing communications where you have consented, with an option to unsubscribe at any time.
- Maintain platform security, prevent fraud, and enforce our Membership Terms.
- Analyse site usage to improve the platform, using aggregated or pseudonymised data where possible.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR: performance of a contract (to provide membership services you have signed up for), consent (for marketing communications and non-essential cookies), legitimate interests (to operate, secure and improve the platform), and legal obligation (for example, tax and accounting records).
4. Who we share your data with
We share personal data with the following categories of recipients, only as needed to operate the platform:
- Other members: your profile information is visible to other logged-in members via the directory, in line with the visibility settings on your account. Your email address is never exposed directly to other members.
- Service providers: our hosting provider (Kinsta), payment processor (Stripe), and CRM/email platform (Fuzzy Logic CRM), each acting under contract and only using your data to provide their service to us.
- Analytics and advertising partners: GA4, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel, Plausible Analytics, as described in our Cookie Policy.
- Regulators or authorities, where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
6. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Account data is deleted or anonymised within 12 months of account closure, unless a longer period is required by law.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. 8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and secure hosting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data to industry standards.
9. Children
Level Up Golf Business Network is a business-to-business networking platform intended for professionals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Material changes will be notified to members by email where appropriate.
